There are millions (really!) of a amazing fonts out there to consider when it comes to designing your invitations, programs, personal stationery, graphics, and more. In light of the millions and billions of fab fonts out there, I am going to feature some of my favorites each week to introduce you to, or remind you of, some fab fonts.
Let's start with the script font Ecolier:
Font type: True- Type
Designer: Jean-Marie Douteau
Download (free): Dafont.com
Ecolier is a nice script font that's not too formal and slightly vintage in appearance. It's got a great connection to other letters, and looks pretty when bolded. The font was designed to resemble the handwriting style of French schoolschildren (hence the name "Ecolier", which is French for "school")I particularly like the look of the numbers (the European seven, the rounded two and nine are favorites)

The other characters are nicely refined as well, and there's ulongs, ampersands, parenthesis, and great accent characters-- see a full character map
here No wonder it's one of my favorite fun & flirty script fonts.
